Need something to do while the rolls finish baking? Set out this Thanksgiving word bingo game for a small group. It has six different cards, so players aren’t all marking the same board.
This is word bingo for readers, not picture bingo. Younger children can play with someone who helps them read the words and find their squares.

What is included
The nine-page PDF contains:
- One page of printing and play instructions.
- Two caller sheets with the complete set of 40 Thanksgiving and fall words.
- Six different bingo cards, numbered 01-06, with 16 words in a 4-by-4 grid. There is no free space.
Plan for 2-6 players and one caller. You don’t need prizes or a purchase to play.
Printing and setup
Use US Letter paper, 8.5 by 11 inches. Print single-sided at 100% or Actual Size. Color is optional. Page 1 has the instructions. Print pages 2-3 once for the caller, then one different card from pages 4-9 for each player.
An adult cuts out all 40 caller cards along the dashed lines and mixes them face down. Give players pencils for checkmarks. Keep an eraser handy if you’d like to play again. This is a printable PDF, not a fillable digital game.
How to play
- The caller draws a card, reads the word aloud, and sets it aside. Keep called cards visible for checking a winning line.
- Players mark that word if it appears on their card. Some called words won’t be on every board.
- Get four marked squares in a row, across, down, or diagonally, and call “Bingo!” Check those four words against the cards already called. If players finish on the same call, they share the win.
- Erase the marks or print fresh cards for another round. Mix all 40 caller cards again before restarting.
